Trong kỳ thi IELTS, các bạn có thể gặp rất nhiều các chủ đề và việc chuẩn bị cho mình list từ vựng rông cho mỗi chủ đề là rất quan trọng. Dưới đây là một số nhóm từ gợi ý cho phần thi IELTS Speaking chủ đề shopping.
I. Phần mở đầu
Để có thể đạt band điểm mà bạn mong muốn trong phần thi Speaking của kỳ thi IELTS, các bạn cần chuẩn bị cho mình những list từ vựng phong phú, các bận không cần phải học thuộc hết các từ vựng gợi ý dưới đây. Hãy áp dụng chúng trong câu trả lời để nó có được sự kết hợp phù hợp nhất. Dưới đây là các list từ vựng phục vụ cho chủ đề Shopping.
II. Các từ vựng cho phần thi IELTS Speaking- Shopping (tiếp)
24. shop / store / retail outlet: một số cửa hàng
Ví dụ: My favourite shop / store / retail outlet to visit when I’m in London is Harrods.
25. chain store: các chuỗi cửa hàng
Ví dụ: These days, most towns in the UK are full of chain stores and there are very few independent retailers left.
26. independent stores: cửa hàng độc lập không thuộc công ty lớn nào
Ví dụ: When I want to buy a special outfit for a wedding, I shop in an independent store so that I can be sure that no one else will be wearing the same thing.
27. department store: một cửa hàng lớn bán các loại mặt hàng khác nhau
Ví dụ: The department store in our town sells everything from clothes and shoes to bedding, kitchenware and cosmetics.
28. convenience store: cửa hàng tiện lợi
Ví dụ: If we run out of bread or milk, I send one of the kids down to the convenience store at the end of the road to buy some.
29. supermarket: siêu thị
30. discount store: cửa hàng giảm giá
Ví dụ: Having a motor parts discount store near my home means that I can keep my car on the road quite cheaply.
31. grocery: cửa hàng tạp hóa
Ví dụ: I hope that our local grocery store doesn’t close down now that a big supermarket has been built near town.
32. greengrocer; cửa hàng bán rau củ quả
Ví dụ: When I was young I was always given a free apple when I went to the greengrocer with my mum.
33. butcher: người/ cửa hàng bán thịt
Ví dụ: My butcher makes the best sausages in the area.
34. bakery: cửa hàng bán bánh
Ví dụ: Fresh bread from a bakery always tastes much better than bread bought from a supermarket.
35. fishmonger: cửa hàng bán cá
Ví dụ: Our fishmonger buys his fish straight off the local fishing boats so it’s very fresh.
36. pharmacy: cửa hàng bán thuốc
Ví dụ: They were very helpful at the pharmacy and recommended some cough mixture that has calmed my chesty cough.
37. newsagents: cửa hàng bán báo, tạp chí
Ví dụ: Harry stopped off at the newsagents on his way to the train station each weekday morning to buy his daily paper.
38. pet shop: cửa hàng thú cưng
Ví dụ: My dog loves visiting the pet shop with me as he knows that I’ll buy him a dog chew.
39. bookshop: cửa hàng bán sách
Ví dụ: I buy lots of Christmas and birthday present from bookshops as all my family are keen readers.
40. DIY store: cửa hàng bán đồ tự làm
Ví dụ: Dad has promised me some shelves in my room so we’re off to the DIY store at the weekend to buy some planks of wood and screws.
41. hardware shop / ironmonger: cửa hàng bán dụng cụ sửa chữa như đinh, ốc, tuốc- nơ vít
Ví dụ: I love browsing in hardware stores as they sell so many interesting bits and pieces.

45. gift voucher: Phiếu quà tặng
Ví dụ: I often give my nieces and nephews gift vouchers for their birthdays so that they can buy what they want.
46. discount voucher: phiếu giảm giá
Ví dụ: When I bought my new TV, I got a discount voucher for 20% off my next purchase from the shop.
47. coupon: phiếu quà tặng
Ví dụ: There’s a coupon in our local newspaper this week for a free cupcake from the new bakery in town.
48. debit card : thẻ ghi nợ
Ví dụ: My debit card is now contactless so I don’t even need to enter my PIN number for small purchases.
49. credit card: thẻ tín dụng
Ví dụ: I’m careful as to how I use my credit card as it is very easy to overspend with one.
50. cash: tiền mặt
Ví dụ: I hardly ever use cash these days as I do most of my shopping online.
51. receipt: hóa đơn
Ví dụ: I always keep the receipt when I buy something in case I have to return it.
52. refund: bồi thường
Ví dụ: I took the faulty clock back to the shop and asked for a refund.
